First steps

1. Choose a style preset. In Customize theme, open the theme settings, then «نمط المتجر» (store style). Five ready-made looks:
   • Workshop (ورشة): precise and technical. The default.
   • Showroom (معرض): warm and classic, rounded corners.
   • Performance (أداء): dark, sharp and bold.
   • Heritage (أصالة): a Kufi typeface and outlined buttons.
   • Marketplace (سوق): flat and dense, four products a row.

   Every look setting follows the preset until you change it, and anything you change stays as you chose it. The look settings are: colour scheme, neutral tone, accent colour, heading font, type size, corners, card style, edge weight, density, button style, button text, content width, section spacing, header layout, header background, menu link style, menu hover effect, menu alignment, the menu bar's edges, header buttons, the cart in the header, dropdowns, the shop-by-vehicle link, search field style, footer layout, footer background, product card style, the card's cart button, the sale label, name lines, category header, sub-categories, product gallery, what stays in view while scrolling, related products, products per row, how the shopper's vehicle shows, and the gauge rule under headings.

2. Your colour and font come from Salla. Set the brand colour in Customize theme → Store color and the font in Store font. The theme works out readable text on your colour automatically, whatever the colour, and every preset uses it.
3. Logo. Your store logo comes from Salla. If your store is dark, or follows the shopper's device, add a «شعار الوضع الداكن» (dark-mode logo) in the theme settings so it stays clear on dark backgrounds.
4. Home page. Add sections from Salla's home-page builder (see Home-page sections below). Start with «البحث بالسيارة» (vehicle search) at the top.
5. Tag your products for fitment. This is the step that matters most, and the subject of the next section.

Fitment tags

The theme knows which vehicles a part fits from the product's tags. Add them in Products → the product → Tags: type the tag, choose Add, then save the product.

Your Salla plan: Salla offers product tags and SKUs on its Plus, Pro and Special plans, not on Basic. On Basic the theme works as a complete parts store, without vehicle fitment or part numbers.

How to write them

• Lower-case Latin letters, one space between words.
• Makes, models and chassis codes spelled as in the vehicle list: 43 makes and 344 models.
• One year per tag. A part that fits a Camry from 2018 to 2020 takes three tags: vfit toyota camry 2018, vfit toyota camry 2019 and vfit toyota camry 2020. Don't write 2018-2020: the theme can't read it, and the Fitment check tells you so and writes its three tags for you. Its tag generator writes them from the start (see The fitment check).
• Salla allows up to 50 characters per tag.
• Part numbers don't go in tags. OEM and cross-reference numbers belong in the product's description: Salla's search reaches the description, but not a tag's words after its first.

Shoppers never see these tags. The theme hides them from the product page and from the tags filter. Your other, marketing tags stay visible as before.

What a shopper sees once they have chosen a vehicle:

• On product cards: a "Fits your vehicle" or "Doesn't fit your vehicle" badge.
• On the product page:
  • A clear verdict, such as "Fits your Camry 2019".
  • A Compatible vehicles section listing every vehicle the part fits, grouped and shortened, such as "Toyota: Camry 2018–2020". Their own vehicle is marked "Your vehicle".
• Before adding a part that doesn't fit their vehicle to the cart: a window asks first. "Cancel" has focus, and "Add anyway" is next to it.
• On category pages: a switch named after their vehicle, such as "Only parts that fit my Camry 2019", narrows the list to what fits.
• In the cart: each part with its badge, and a line above the parts when something needs the shopper: a part that doesn't fit their vehicle, a part that depends on the variant (with a button to choose it), or no vehicle chosen yet (with a button to choose one). The line follows a vehicle change and never blocks checkout.

OEM or aftermarket

Two more tags name the kind of part on the product page and on its card:

• part oem shows "OEM part".
• part aftermarket shows "Aftermarket part", and the part loses the store's "genuine parts" promise.

The fitment check

In the theme preview (never for shoppers) a Fitment check button appears. It scans your products and tells you:

• How many products carry fitment tags.
• Which tags are written wrongly, why, and the right tags to use instead.
• Which tags are well formed but don't match the vehicle list, so no shopper can reach them: a make or model one letter off (vfit toyta camry 2018), a year the model wasn't sold in, or a chassis code of other years (vfit bmw 5-series 2005 f10; the F10 runs 2011 to 2016). With the tags that were meant.
• Whether shoppers are still seeing older data.

The check understands the usual slips and suggests the fix: names in Arabic (vfit تويوتا كامري 2018), a model's words not joined (land cruiser → land-cruiser), and year ranges (2018-2020 → three tags). Each suggestion has a Copy button.

Make fitment tags: under the check is a tag generator. Choose the make and model (or Every model of the make), the first and last year, and a chassis code if you want one; it writes the tags, one per year, from the vehicle list itself. Copy them and add them to the product.

Run it after each batch of tagging.

«أدوات التوافق مع السيارة» (fitment tools)

• Auto (the default): the fitment tools appear as soon as the theme finds fitment tags in your store. A store with no tags works as a normal parts store, with no empty fitment interface.
• On and Off force them on or off.

Once your products are tagged, choose On. Auto looks at your 32 newest products only, and the shopper's browser remembers what it found (tags present for 12 hours, absent for 30 minutes). If you tagged older products that are not among the 32 newest, it may not find the tags, and the fitment tools stay hidden. The «فحص التوافق» check suggests On when it finds tags and the setting is Auto.

The "Shop by vehicle" page

1. Create an ordinary information page in Salla (from Information pages; not a page-builder page), titled for example «تسوّق حسب سيارتك».
2. Choose it in the theme settings: «صفحة التسوق حسب السيارة».
3. A "Shop by vehicle" link appears in the header, and the page shows the parts that fit the shopper's vehicle.

Vehicle search from your categories (every plan)

A store that doesn't use fitment tags, including every store on Salla's Basic plan, can still offer a vehicle search, from its categories:

1. Make each make a main category, such as «تويوتا» and «جي إم سي», with a photo if you like.
2. Make its models, with their years, sub-categories under it, such as «كامري 2018 - 2022» and «سييرا 2007 - 2013», and put their parts in them. Salla allows two levels of categories, so the years go in the model's name.
3. Choose those makes in the theme settings: «فئات الماركات» (makes' categories), in the order you want.

The vehicle bar appears under the header: the shopper picks the make, then the model, and its category opens; the store remembers the choice for their next visit. The home page's vehicle search and shop by make use the same categories. The badges, the "only what fits" switch, the cart warning and the compatibility list need fitment tags. The category search stays as long as «فئات الماركات» is filled, even if you tag a few products as a test, so your store doesn't switch and your shoppers' saved cars aren't lost. When your tagging is done, empty «فئات الماركات» and the tags take over. Setting «أدوات التوافق مع السيارة» (fitment tools) to On turns tags on; Off turns both off.

Home-page sections

The theme's own parts-store sections:

General sections:

Salla's own sections work alongside them, in the theme's style: photo slider, banners, product sliders, featured products, store features, testimonials and YouTube video.

Section style. At the end of each theme section's settings:

• «خلفية القسم» (background): none, light grey, a light wash of your store colour, dark, or a photo you pick in «صورة الخلفية» (background photo), darkened behind the section. (The vehicle search and the countdown offer have their own photo.)
• «عرض القسم» (width): with a background, a rounded panel the width of the content, or a band from edge to edge. The vehicle search is full width until you choose the content's width.
• «محاذاة العنوان» (title alignment): at the start or in the middle.
• «المسافة فوق القسم وتحته» (spacing): normal, small, large or none.

Layouts of some sections:

• Category tiles («شكل المربعات»): circles, cards with square photos, or a row that swipes.
• Brand strip («شكل الشريط»): a row that swipes, a grid, or a strip that moves by itself, pausing under the pointer and for shoppers who prefer less motion.
• FAQ («عدد الأعمدة»): one column, or two on wide screens.
• Vehicle search («شكل البحث بالسيارة»): a panel, the heading and form in one row, or the photo in one half and the form in the other.

VIN requests on WhatsApp

Many parts buyers shop by VIN (رقم الهيكل). The theme offers it in two places:

1. Add your store's WhatsApp number in Salla's support channels («قنوات التواصل»). Without a number none of this appears.
2. Product page: the line "Not sure it fits your vehicle? Send us your VIN" appears under the store promises. The setting «طلب رقم الهيكل في صفحة المنتج» (VIN request on the product page) controls it.
3. Home page: the WhatsApp section has an «اطلب رقم الهيكل» (ask for the VIN) option. With it on, the shopper writes their VIN and the part they need.

How it works:

• The shopper types the number, and a WhatsApp chat with your store opens with the message written in: "Hello, my vehicle's chassis number (VIN) is … / I need: …". From a product page, the product's name and link come with it.
• If the shopper chose their vehicle in the store, it is written on a line of its own ("Vehicle: Toyota Camry 2019"), so you needn't ask. The home page's WhatsApp and fitting-booking buttons do the same.
• A 17-character VIN goes straight through.
• Any other number is never refused, such as the shorter frame number of an imported Japanese vehicle. The shopper is offered to send it as typed, and you check it in the chat.

Store promises

Four badges under the buy button:

• Genuine parts.
• Warranty: the maker's warranty, 6 months, 1 year or 2 years.
• Returns: within 3, 7, 14 or 30 days.
• Delivery: nationwide, within 1–3 working days, or 3–5.

They are commitments only you can make, so all are hidden until you turn them on. Choose «صفحة الضمان والاسترجاع» (warranty and returns page) to link them to your policy. The delivery badge is left out for products that aren't shipped.

Menus and categories for a large catalogue

• The main menu comes from Salla's menus:
  • On wide screens it keeps to one row; whatever doesn't fit goes under «المزيد» (more).
  • A group with sub-groups (Engine → Filters → Oil filters) opens across the bar in columns.
  • On phones the menu folds open, with a "show all" link at every level.
• A category's image shows beside its title on the category page. Square images suit it best.
• Sub-categories appear as links under a category's title, so shoppers can reach the deepest level from any page.

Product card

The same card shows on the home page, categories, search results and related products. The first four settings follow the preset until you change them:

• «شكل بطاقة المنتج» (card style):
  • Classic (كلاسيكية): the photo, then the details, in a card.
  • Borderless (بلا إطار): the photo and details on the page, with no fill or outline.
  • Buttons on the photo (أزرار فوق الصورة): the cart button in the photo's corner.
  • Horizontal (أفقية): the photo beside the details, one a row on phones and two on wide screens. Sliders keep the upright card.
  • Spec sheet (ورقة مواصفات): the named part number at the top, the price on a bar at the foot.
• «زر الإضافة للسلة في البطاقة» (cart button): a cart icon, a full button with its text, shown when the pointer is on the card (always on phones), or none, so shoppers add from the product page. A status such as "sold out" always shows.
• «شارة التخفيض على البطاقة» (sale label): the word "Sale", a ribbon across the photo's corner, the saving such as "-20%", or none. The old price stays struck through either way.
• «أسطر اسم المنتج» (name lines): one, two or three lines, then an ellipsis. The product page shows the whole name.
• «شكل صور المنتجات» (photo shape): square, portrait or landscape, to match your photos.
• «رقم القطعة في البطاقة», «الماركة في البطاقة», «نوع القطعة في البطاقة», «التقييم في البطاقة» (part number, brand, part type, rating): all shown until you turn one off.

Category page

• «رأس صفحة التصنيف» (category header, follows the preset): the category's photo small beside its title, a tinted full-width banner with the title and a larger photo, or the title only. A category with no photo in Salla shows its title only.
• «التصنيفات الفرعية» (sub-categories, follows the preset): buttons, tiles with each sub-category's photo (or the first letter of its name), or none.
• «عدد المنتجات في الصف» (products per row): 3 or 4 on wide screens.
• «عدد المنتجات في الصف على الجوال» (products per row on phones): two or one.
• «مكان فلاتر التصنيفات» (category filters): in a sidebar or a side drawer.
• «زر تبديل العرض (شبكة أو قائمة)» (grid or rows switch): two buttons above the products that let the shopper see cards in a grid or as horizontal rows; the store remembers the choice. Off until you turn it on.

Search results look the same. If your store has a WhatsApp number, a line above them reads "Can't find the part you're looking for? Ask us on WhatsApp", and the chat opens with the shopper's search and vehicle written in.

Product page

• «معرض صور المنتج» (gallery, follows the preset): thumbnails below the photo or beside it, every photo in a grid (the first large), or one large photo with dots. On phones the photos stay a strip to swipe.
• «ما يبقى ظاهراً أثناء التمرير» (what stays in view, follows the preset): the photos, the buy column (it suits the grid gallery), or nothing.
• «وصف المنتج ومواصفاته» (description and specifications): open sections, folding sections, or tabs: the description, specifications and compatible vehicles each in a tab.
• «شريط الشراء الثابت في صفحة المنتج» (sticky buy bar): at the bottom of the page once the shopper has scrolled past the buy button.
• «منتجات مشابهة» (related products, follows the preset): a slider, a grid of eight, or none.
• «زر المفضلة» and «زر المشاركة» (wishlist and share buttons): shown until you turn them off.
• «عرض الوسوم في صفحة المنتج» (show tags): your marketing tags only; fitment tags never show.
• «طلب رقم الهيكل في صفحة المنتج» (VIN request): see VIN requests on WhatsApp.

Part specifications: the Specifications section shows the part number, barcode, brand, category and weight, then the custom fields you add to the product in Salla, in the same rows. They are the place for what parts buyers compare:

• Position: front or rear, left or right.
• Dimensions: such as "157 × 59 × 17 mm".
• OEM references: the original part numbers an aftermarket part replaces.
• Engine: when the part fits one engine only, such as "2.5 L (A25A-FKS)".

So shoppers find them by search, put the OEM and cross-reference numbers in the product's description too. Salla's search reaches the product's name, part number and description, but not a tag's words after its first, so don't put part numbers in tags.

Header

Each preset has its own header, and you can change any part of it. Settings marked "follows the preset" do so until you change them:

• «شكل الترويسة» (header layout, follows the preset):
  • Search first (بحث بارز): a wide search field beside the logo, the menu on a row below. For stores whose shoppers search by part number.
  • Centred logo (شعار في المنتصف): the logo in the middle, the menu centred below it.
  • Compact (مختصرة): one row with the logo, the menu and a button that opens search.
  • Menu in the row, wide search below (قائمة في الصف وبحث عريض تحته): the logo and menu on one row, a full-width search field under them.
  • Minimal (بسيطة): the logo and search only; the menu opens in a side panel on every screen.
• «خلفية الترويسة» (header background, follows the preset): light, light grey, your store colour (the menu or search row; a store-colour line under one-row layouts), or dark. Dark needs a «شعار الوضع الداكن» (dark-mode logo); without one the header stays light.
• «شكل حقل البحث» (search field style, follows the preset): rounded, following «شكل الزوايا» (corners), underlined, or filled with no outline.

The menu bar. The link to the page the shopper is on is always marked, in the style of the links:

• «شكل روابط القائمة» (menu link style, follows the preset): text (the current one in your store colour), underlined, filled buttons (the current one in your store colour), framed buttons, tabs (the current one an open tab onto the page), divided by thin rules, or in the heading font.
• «تأثير المرور على الروابط» (hover effect, follows the preset): the colour changes, a line slides in under it, a background appears, or it lifts a little.
• «محاذاة القائمة» (menu alignment, follows the preset): at the start, centred, or spread across the bar.
• «حدود شريط القائمة» (the bar's edges, follows the preset): none, a line under it, lines above and below, a thick store-colour line, or a shadow.
• «شكل القوائم المنسدلة» (dropdowns, follows the preset): a framed panel, a floating card with a shadow, or a band the width of the page.
• «فتح القوائم المنسدلة» (opening dropdowns): on hover (the default), or only by clicking the arrow beside the link.
• «شكل رابط «تسوّق حسب سيارتك»» (the shop-by-vehicle link, follows the preset): a text link, a framed button, or a store-colour button.
• «القائمة على الجوال» (the phone menu): a side drawer (the default), full screen, or a sheet from the bottom.

Header buttons:

• «شكل أزرار الترويسة» (header buttons, follows the preset): outlined circles, plain icons, filled squares, icons with words («حسابي», «السلة»), or framed with words. The words show on wide screens.
• «عرض السلة في الترويسة» (the cart, follows the preset): the icon and total, the icon and count, or a store-colour button with «السلة» and the count.

Also:

• «حجم الشعار» (logo size): small, medium (the default) or large. A wide logo suits small or medium; a square one suits large.
• «الشريط العلوي» (top bar): a thin bar above the header, off until you choose it: your contact details (phone, WhatsApp and email as set in Salla's «قنوات التواصل»), or the store promises you've turned on. For announcement text, use Salla's announcement bar.
• «تثبيت الترويسة» (sticky header): shows when scrolling up (the default), always, or never.

Footer

The footer's links come from your Salla menus; its look comes from the theme:

• «شكل التذييل» (footer layout, follows the preset):
  • Columns (أعمدة): the store, its links, contact details and apps in columns.
  • Centred (في المنتصف): everything in one centred column.
  • One compact row (صف واحد مختصر): the store name, links and contact details in one row.
  • Two tiers (طبقتان): the store, its social links and badges on a wide band, the columns below.
• «خلفية التذييل» (footer background, follows the preset): light, light grey, dark, or your store colour. Payment logos keep their white tiles on every colour.
• «وصف المتجر في التذييل» (store description): your Salla store description under its name (on unless you turn it off).
• «زر العودة للأعلى» (back to top): a link at the end of the page that takes the shopper back to the top (off until you turn it on).

Motion

• «الحركة والتأثيرات» (motion): standard, or none for a calmer page. The theme always respects the shopper's device setting for reduced motion.

Store texts

Three phrases you can write in your own words, in each of your store's languages:

• The search field's text.
• The invitation to choose a vehicle.
• The "Shop by vehicle" link.

Leave them empty to show the theme's words.

For search engines

• Salla adds structured product data for search engines: name, price, availability and part number. So fill in MPN and GTIN in each product's Advanced details, and searches for a part number find your product.
• Write the main vehicles into the product name or description too, such as "Front brake pads Toyota Camry 2018–2020". The Compatible vehicles list helps, but the name is what search results show first.

What you manage in Salla directly

The theme doesn't duplicate what Salla owns:

• Store colour and store font.
• The announcement bar.
• Custom CSS and JavaScript.
• Footer contact links and payment methods.
• Languages.

An English store: turn English on in Settings → Languages. The theme's words and the vehicle names appear in English, and any field you left in Arabic shows in Arabic.

Vehicle list

The makes, models and chassis codes the theme knows, spelled as a fitment tag needs them: the lower-case Latin spelling in the "In the tag" column. Open a make to see its models. 43 makes and 344 models.
